Connect Your Account
Requirements for Connections
In order to use Shopify with Dext Commerce, your account must meet the following requirements:
Your account must have Apps & Channels access
Connect your Shopify account to Commerce using the following steps:
Log in to your Commerce account
Go to Connect an account > Sales > Shopify > Connect +
Enter your Shopify shop name into Commerce’s Shop Name Field
Click Connect
If you are not already logged into your Shopify store, you are then prompted to log in with your owner credentials. This authenticates the connection between Commerce and Shopify. You are then redirected to Commerce where your most recent transactions begin to sync.
Having trouble connecting? Chances are your branded store name is different from your Shopify shop name needed for establishing your connection to Commerce. For example, “Branded Shop Name” is the marketing name for your store while Shopify (and Commerce for that matter) recognize “branded-shop-name-llc.myshopify.com”. Use “branded-shop-name-lcc” when connecting Shopify to Commerce.

Still unsure of your shop name? Visit your Shopify site and add “/admin” to the end of the URL. This redirects you to the shop's admin page where you now find “branded-shop-name-llc.myshopify.com” in the address bar.
Supported Plans
Commerce currently supports all Shopify plans in all regions, including Shopify Point of Sale.
Catch Me Ups
If you are in need of your historical transactions, Commerce can gather those for you. There are no time restrictions on historical Shopify transactions.
Your Data
Commerce gathers all data associated with each transaction from connected integrations. Shopify provides:
Normal transactions
Refunds
Billing address
Shipping address
Buyer name
Buyer email
Sales reference IDs
SKUs
Deposits
Payments
Discounts
Taxes/VAT
Shipping
